Other Tarot Books I Can Recommend
21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card - Mary K. Greer
Tarot for Your Self - Mary K. Greer
The Everything Tarot Book - by M. J. Abadie
The Idiots Guide to the Tarot - by Arlene Tognetti and Lisa Lenard [Was called The Idiots Guide to the Tarot and Fotune-Telling but ' Fortune-Telling' was considered polically incorrect so they changed it in the newer editions]
How To: Read The Tarot - by Sylvia Abraham
Jung and Tarot - An Archetypal Journey - by Sallie Nichols (long winded but worth reading)
Dictionary of the Tarot - by Bill Butler [good for comparing different decks and their card meanings]
The Tarot Bible - by Sarah Bartlett
Marginal Recommendation: Absolute Beginners Guide To Tarot - Mark McElroy, has some nice goodies in it but his card descriptions are somewhat funky imo.

Recommended Tarot Book on Reversals
Tarot Plain and Simple - by Anthony Louis

Recommended Tarot Books on the Court Cards
Understanding the Tarot Court - by Mary K. Greer and Tom Little
The Tarot Court Cards - by Kate Warwick-Smith

For the Robin Wood Tarot Deck
The Robin Wood Tarot/The Book - by Robin Wood

The Everything Astrology Book - by Trish MacGregor (co-author of the book Power Tarot)
The Compleat Astrologer - by Derek and Julia Parker
The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need - by Joanna Martine Woolfolk
Astrology Encyclopedia - James R. Lewis

Numerology
Numerology - The Complete Guide by Matthew Oliver Goodwin (my favorite because it includes negative meanings for the numbers)
Numerology - Key To Your Inner Self by Hans Decoz with Tom Monte (somewhat fluffy but good)
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Numerology by Kay Lagerquist and Lisa Lenard (use it a lot for referencing the different numbers. It's actually quite good)

Numerology in Other Books;
Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis
This book has a small but excellent little section on the numbers at the back of the book. Plus number stuff is interspersed throughout the book. The best beginners book on the tarot in my opinion - even over Joan Bunning's book - Learning the Tarot - he deals with reversals if for no reason.

Kabbalah and The Tree of Life
The Kabbalah Tree - Rachel Pollack
Tarot and the Tree of Life - Isabel Radow Kliegman [Drawback - it only deals with the Minor Arcana and the Tree of Life]
The Mystical Qabalah - by Dion Fortune [somewhat disorganized in my opinion and I don't care for how the book is laid out but good none the less]
The Oracle of Kabbalah [23 cards and book] - by Richard Seidman

Thoth Deck
Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Deck - by Lon Milo DuQuette
I don't care for the deck so the list is very short. I have The Book of Thoth by Crowley but I can't recommend the book, other than for card meanings.

Tarot History/Origins
The Tarot - History, Symbolism, and Divination by Robert M. Place
Mystical Origins of the Tarot - by Paul Huson

Runes
For Beginners
Practical Guide to The Runes by Lisa A. Peschel
The Little Giant Encyclopedia of Runes by Sirona Knight
More Advanced
New Perspectives: Runes by Bernard King
The Way of the Runes by Bernard King
Principles of Runes by Freyja Aswynn
The Complete Illustrated Guide to the Runes by Nigel Pennick
A Handbook of Rune Magic by Edred Thorsson: Futhark
Runelore: A Handbook of Esoteric Runology by Edred Thorsson
Note-Recommendation: Stay away from anything by Ralph H. Blum if you want to learn historical rune wisdom and knowledge.
