Alphabet Soup Tarot Exercise

First - copy out the main meanings Joan Bunning uses in her book or on her web site for a particular card [ http://www.learntarot.com/cards.htm ].  Make sure you place the card in front of you as you do this exercise and use it's imagery (no matter what deck you use) to help you to do this exercise.

Example:

THE MOON
Fear
Illusion
Imagination
Bewilderment

Then start with the letter 'A' and try to come up with an 'A' word that might coincide with one of the meanings Bunning gives for the card, or with the imagery on the card, and/or using your own intellect and intuition.

A - Afraid (Fear)

Then do the rest of the alphabet leaving out letters like 'Z', or any other letter that you don't think will work for this exercise. Try letters like 'Y',  'Q' and 'K' before giving up on them.

Make sure you write down your corresponding words in your Tarot Journal.

Example:

THE MOON
Fear
Illusion
Imagination
Bewilderment

A - Afraid
B - Beware
C - Caution
D - Dreamer/Dreams
E - Elusive
F - Fraud

and so on ...

Enjoy,
